The last two months here in Mexico have been super productive and incredible! As soon as I got back from my time in Virginia, I put on a four day seminar on the Basics of Bible Teaching for the YWAM Staff at Tijuana. The students took and applied everything that they had learned as they each taught at the end of the time.
After that week, I moved down to our YWAM Ensenada base, where I am currently on staff with the three-month Bible Core Course. We have ten students that are very hungry to learn the Word of God, to study the Bible and to grow. We are already into the New Testament with our studies. They've just wrapped up Matthew and now we're on to Romans this coming week. They are all so fun and full of quirky people that are not afraid of rising to the standards God gives them. Ensenada is so fun because it is a port city and it is said to be the birthplace for the fish taco! Their claims seem be true because they are delicious!
We also celebrated the 25th anniversary of an amazing ministry out of YWAM called Homes of Hope by building 25 houses in the midst of very poor communities in Ensenada and Tijuana. Over 1,000 people came for the celebration and the building!
Last week I taught the book of Titus in the School of Biblical Studies. I have been convicted and challenged by the message of Titus, and was privileged to have the honor of teaching it.
Please pray that I communicate God's heart and his words in my teachings of the Bible as well as continue to staff the Bible Core Course with God's strength wisdom.
Thank you so much for your love and support! Blessings from Ensenada,
